After two successful, enjoyable Scent Work trials, Warragul Dog Club is pleased to hold another trial on the 21st of September. It will again be held at Darnum Primary School which has proven to be a great local venue for Scent Work trialling, with some lovely community involvement.
After a successful inaugural event last year, Warragul Dog Club will again hold a Rally-O Triple Trial event in 2024 at our Darnum Showgrounds.

After a successful inaugural event late last year, Warragul Dog Club was pleased to hold an Open Scent Work Trial event for Advanced levels in April this year. It was enjoyed by participants and the event was considered a great success. The Club is grateful to the organisers, judges, stewards, volunteers and sponsors who made it all possible and the local Darnum Tea Rooms who catered for lunches.
Our AM & PM Championship All Breeds Conformation Shows were held at our Darnum grounds on March 11th.
All members are welcome to attend our monthly meetings.
Warragul Dog Club has hosted Conformation Shows for over 50 years.
For over 20 years, we have hosted a Labour Day all-breeds conformation event at our Darnum show grounds. The day includes two championship shows: an AM show and a PM show.
It is a very popular and colourful event, attracting hundreds of entrants throughout Victoria and interstate.
We also have a great relationship with the Ellinbank CFA who provide us with a food stall while raising funds and awareness for the CFA.

The club will run their first Rally Obedience trail on Saturday 28th October 2023. We are very excited about this event and look forward to a successful day.

Rally is an excellent discipline to extend obedience and human-dog team skills.
It involves a set course with a series of cards with signs to show what tasks are to be done at each point.
If you’re confident about you and your dog’s Obedience skills and want a new challenge, ask at the club rooms about training in this sport.
Entries for trialling are managed through K9 Entries.
Warragul Dog Club is a volunteer organisation providing dog training and obedience classes for the Warragul and West Gippsland communities and an annual conformation show day on Labor Day.
Club activities are held in Baw Baw Shire on the lands of the Gunai Kurnai People.
New members are always welcome.
