Your dog has Canine Cough
Canine Cough is a highly contagious disease. Dogs diagnosed with Canine Cough must not attend Club activities for three weeks from the onset of symptoms. This exclusion period is in line with WDKOC Inc By-Laws and Dogs Victoria recommendations.
Your dog is unwell, injured, or recovering from surgery
Rest at home is essential to support a full recovery. Please allow your dog time to heal before returning to class.
Your female dog is in season
Please wait until your dog has finished her cycle before coming back to class. Be aware that hormonal changes can affect her behaviour for up to 7–9 weeks, which may reduce her focus and interest in training. Her scent can also be a strong distraction for other dogs in the class.
Your dog is welcome back at class when they are healthy, happy, and ready to enjoy and benefit from training again.
