Working Dogs

Just north of our training field, we have a “back paddock” with a large grazing area. It sometimes holds a small flock of sheep and is used for sheep herding exercises by members with working dogs.

Annual Yard Dog trials have been hosted by our club at Darnum for many years. Then in 2016 and 2017, we hosted them at Farmworld at Lardner Park, Warragul. In 2018, the club brought the two day Novice and Encourage Class Trials home to our “back paddock”.

Without the assistance of these people, the event could not have taken place.
